What's going on

The new roof is now on!

The roofers began remedial work on Friday, 10th September, once scaffolding had been erected and secured. The timber roof is now covered with the synthetic compound which will protect it from the onslaught of rain, sleet, snow and whatever else the weather might throw at us.

Now all we have to do is raise the money to pay the bill.

 Coming up

Social evening with hot food and home-grown entertainment. The theme will be Old England, tickets cost £3.50 each, please telephone Helen on 865 2723, or Moira at the Rectory, 865 1350.

RAISED £165.80  THANK YOU!

What we've been doing

Throughout October

We are collecting bags of clothing, shoes, bags, belts and soft toys in good condition. Please ensure these are brought into church before Friday, 29th October.

 Saturday 18th September

Open Day at church,  plus light refreshments, 10.00a.m. - 3p.m.  The day was cold and blustery, with occasional heavy showers, which was not what we had been hoping for. However it was good to welcome both familiar faces and first-time visitors into the church to view the display of wedding dresses and memorabilia which we had collected.

Sunday, 12th September

Lostock Partnership Fun Day in Lostock Park, noon - 4p.m. All Saints held a stall to raise awareness and proceeds. Craft activities were provided for children and  arange of soft toys and sweets sold, raising about £40. Many thanks to all who helped
